Wayland Chamber hosts 9th annual Community Expo

The SandBar is happy to be one of the 100 vendors at this event!  We will be giving out samples of our Award winning White Chicken Chili and one of our signature dishes ...  come out to see which one. 

This year's activities will include a Michigan State Police Bell Helicopter landing and tours; the Zoomobile from Binder Park Zoo; children's ID kits; a visit from Griff, the Grand Rapids hockey team mascot; a benefit mum sale by Peereboom’s Garden Center & Greenhouse; and musical entertainment by the jazz band Mood Swings.

 

The “Taste of Wayland Area” food court will offer free samples from area restaurants, bakeries, delis, and vendors.

 

Vendor Bingo will be available to the first 500 adults. Visitors can pick up a vendor bingo card from the Chamber Welcome Table and then take it to the vendors on the card to mark. When they have a Bingo, they will return the card back to the Welcome Table and will be entered to win one of six $25 VISA gift cards sponsored by Chemical Bank.

 

There will also be a Grocery Guess Game. At the entrance to Expo, a vehicle from Ed Koehn Ford will have a trunk full of groceries. Participants guess the total cost of the groceries to be registered to win. The closest entry wins the entire trunk full of groceries. It is sponsored by Ed Koehn Ford of Wayland.

 

Other contests and activities will be offered by the more than 100 vendors represented.

 

Personnel and vehicles from state, city, and county emergency services will be in the front parking lot.

The SandBar welcomes you to our place on OCT 12th! 

50+ bikes will be rolling up to the SandBar in the afternoon.

 We invite any bikes to join in the fun and bring your bikes over and enjoy the party on the patio.

Hawgs For a Cause Cancer Run was a  huge success!  The nearly 300 bikes that participated in the ride raised an impressive $7,500.00!!

Thank you for making the Sand Bar one of your stops!  It is such a thrill to see a sea of motorcycles filling the parking lot!

We were invited to volunteer some food and fun at the Taste of Barry County/Relay For Life event at the Barry County Fairgrounds again this year.The night was a big success and the proceeds went to help a good cause.
